Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain for the US women's Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in 2016. the Final Five. Aly Raisman won three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics, in London. In addition, she took her bronze on balance beam. This made her the Olympics gymnast with the highest number of medals. The 2016 Olympics saw her win gold in the team event. This earned her and Gabby the honor as the first Americans ever to win consecutive team golds. Additionally, she won silver in the individual all around event and floor exercises. Between the two Olympics she took an absence from competitive gymnastics for three years. Furthermore she was part of two gold-winning American gymnastics teams. At the age of 2 when she started to study gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly is an active member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who passed away due to cancer. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation in fashion and hopes to broaden her leotard line and socks in future. Fierce - a novel she is writing will come coming out in the year ahead.
